The story

Night Fare is a short first-person horror game set in 90s Greece. You spend most of it behind the eyes of someone who just wanted to get home from the club.

A run takes about 5 to 10 minutes, so it’s built for one sitting, or for a stream. There are a few endings. The original was inspired by a true story, which is half of why it gets under people’s skin.

Play it with headphones. I’m serious about this one.

What the Director’s Cut adds

  • The bonus endingThe one people kept asking about. If you found every “good” ending in v1.2, this is the one you didn’t get.
  • Extended ride-home sceneMore of the conversation. You’ll wish there wasn’t.
  • Uncompressed audioThe band’s set in the club no longer sounds like it was recorded on a phone in 2004.
  • Lighting + resolution patchProper widescreen, fixed the dark rooms being too dark. A few of you emailed. You were right.
